(Before Replacing Jamb )
You will notice, as you browse around the site, that I have tried to explain some of the issues encountered throughout a lot of door repairs and installations. And, when you look through the "Gallery" section, you will see many different situations that I've already accomplished. There are photos of front door repairs, front door installations, and interior door repairs and installations. Many of the door repairs I've done do not have photos, because we do not photograph most of the small repairs. However, some of those door repairs are such things as replacing a new sill (some call it a threshold); a new door shoe (a weather seal at the bottom of your door); a new astragal (the vertical "stop" piece of material between two doors); and, adjusting the hinges when the doors are rubbing against the door jambs (frame).
Repairing doors and installing doors takes a lot of experience, so if you're thinking of repairing or installing your own front door, take it from me that you will most likely regret the attempt. In fact, the first year that I was in business repairing and installing residential wood doors, I just about gave it up for a living--Note that I said, "the first YEAR. . . ."
Please take your time looking the site over, and if you do need a new front door, or have a front door repair job--or even a question about doors or door repairs--you can call the number below. However, if I'm busy repairing or installing doors for someone else, you may get my message center--But, I promise to return all calls. . .if you leave your number.

New Double Doors Installed Between Master Bedroom and Master Bath, with Arched Glass Above.
Family owned and operated, we perform all levels of door repair in Orange County, from break-in repair (such as that in the two photos on the left), to complicated removal of a window and refitting it with a new door (as I'm doing in the two vivid photos on the right). Call me, and I'll talk with you personally. Or, you can go to the "Quotes" page and fill out the form.
The home in the two photos on the left got broken into, and we had to repair the door by taking the entire pre-hung door out of the existing wall. The reason we had to remove the complete unit was because the jamb leg that needed replacing was screwed in from the top and bottom of the frame, and, therefore, had to be removed and replaced in the same fashion.
